Freebies Gets Me Going

One thing that I love with my work is the freebies that the company usually gives once in a while. For some reason, these promotional items get me going, and keep me working in this place. It’s not that I’m complaining, but an ordinary employee always has demands far more than the employer can give.

Just last week, the boss personally handed out custom imprinted promotional pens for all of us. It was a nice way to keep us satisfied, at least even for a while. The good thing about it was our names were engraved on the pens. The customized part made me keep the gift at home workplace.

I really love handouts. Whenever I go to a conference or something, I make sure that I get one of those custom imprinted promotional ballpoint pens that are usually given out to participants. To date, I have a handful of those giveaways already. Maybe I can use them to stay reminded of the things I’ve done, for my next job, or for my retirement in the future.

For the bosses, the company gave out custom imprinted promotional ballpoint pens. It also had their name on them, but unlike what they gave us, it looked way better. Those things had the company logo, their name, and their position in the company.

I wish I become a boss myself. I heard that some of our regular clients give them custom imprinted promotional high tech pens as a way to show their gratitude. Those are just pens, but the effect it brings really changes the mood in the office.

Promotional Pens For Business

When I was still a student, I used to have several colors of pens in my locker. I used red for important terms, black for taking down notes, and blue as a spare. Aside from that, I also had corporate post-it notes so I would not forget any assignments or projects that my professor would assign.

I also had a collection of pencils but I do not keep them. During my college days, I used to hunt for the cheapest giveaways. Whenever I hear of upcoming events in the school, I see to it that I will attend. That is how I receive my pens and pencils. It is a great way to get some savings. That is why my locker is full of school supplies.

I usually buy my things in discount stores and not in shopping malls where the price could be two times more expensive. I remember that I was able to buy cheap highlighters and I was able to save up a few bucks.

Throughout my student days, my pens remained in my locker. On my final year in college, I took it out from my locker and took it home with me because it had a sentimental value for me. Without them, I would not have survived my college years.
